Rick Olson : [ RFC ] Common XML-RPC API for Weblogs
Rick has been the first among us to start walking the walk and put pen to paper. I hope that we can take this one somewhere. It would be wrong, I think, to imagine an API that addresses everyone's quirks and peculiarities. But maybe we can find a way to agree on the basic commonalities and a framework for individuals to append the interface the handle their individual widgetitis. But, we may be in for a bumpy ride when you consider some of the differences in the lowly blog entry itself :
