"The Weblog is a mutation of the Channel Manager. I wrote the Channel Manager a few months ago to make it easy for people to edit their RSS channels. The idea seemed to catch on, so I decided to update the code a bit to also output WML for WAP phones, HTML for Web browser, and simple HTML for Palm Pilots and PDAs. Several sites started using the Weblog, WebReference being one of them, to not only maintain their RSS channel, but also their home page. I've also toyed with voice synthesized output via Festival.
